The Sucarnochee Revue is a one hour Radio program featuring the music, and musicians from the Black Belt Region of Mississsippi and Alabama.While this region is among the poorest in the United States (Auburn University Study,2002: 29.5 % poverty level; 45 % of citizens over 25 yrs. Of age have not completed high school;average household income, $21,432), the Black Belt Region has been wealthy in artistic talent. Legendary singer/songwriters Hank Williams, Sr., Jimmie Rodgers, Clarence Carter, and Odetta were all born in the Black Belt. The current artists from this region are, arguably, as/or more talented than their predecessors.The Sucarnochee Revue showcases these artists, and their work.

The host of the "Sucarnochee Revue" is Jack White of Livingston Alabama.Jack has lived in Alabama for twenty years.He is married to Jody Tartt of Livingston, Al.
Jacky Jack White has had songs on the charts as a singer/songwriter since 1985. Some of the artists who have recorded his songs are: Ray Stevens, Charley Pride, Buddy Jewell, Steve Wariner, Neal McCoy and Mark Lowery.
Jack has received an ASCAP Award for "If I Didn't Love You", and a NSAI Award for the #1 Southern Gospel song, "When Men Pray."
He has produced shows, and performed at Lipscomb University, Motlow College,Harding College, Livingston University, Nashville's famous Bluebird Cafe, WSM radio's Midnite Opry, and Nashville's Douglas Corner Cafe.
Plus, he has produced C.D.'s on J. Burton Fuller; the Carter Sisters; and three self-titled C.D.'s on Silverwolf Records, a prestigious Vermont Folk label.
