••• We will be "ON THE ROAD" for the April 20th Show •••

The nationally syndicated Sucarnochee Revue radio show is being taped before a live audience July 20 at the East Mississippi Community College on the Scooba, MS campus.

The July show will feature the Psalms Trio; singer/songwriter, Jim Parker; EMCC’s Frank Rogers; plus, all the regular performers, Jacky Jack White; Mississippi Chris Sharp and the Jangalang String Band; Track 45; Britt Gully; and J. Burton Fuller.

          The Psalms Trio from Choctaw, Ms. is one of the most exciting acts in Southern Gospel Music.  Audiences are captivated by their unique sound, and energetic performances.  

Jim Parker has performed in numerous concerts, television shows and other venues with Dave and Sugar, Juice Newton, Loretta Lynn, Lee Greenwood, Billy "Crash" Craddock, B. J. Thomas, as a duet with John Anderson, T. G. Sheppard, Tom T. Hall, Gary Morris, Stella Parton, The Bellamy Brothers, Tammy Wynette, George Jones, Charley Pride, Joe Stampley, Mercedes McCambridge (General Hospital), Steve Wariner, Louise Mandrell, Misty Rowe, Glen Campbell, Vicki Carr, Bill Cosby, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, The Young Rascals, James Brown, John David Souther, Little Richard, Ted Nugent, Marty Raybon, Don Von Tress, Chris Gantry, Baby, Johnny Lee Shell, Travis Wammak, Flash Cadillac and the Continental Kids, Aerosmith, REO Speedwagon, Exile, Black Oak Arkansas, and many others.
                   Jim has also written many songs with Country Music legend, John Anderson. On that list is the monster hit, “Chicken Truck”.

East Mississippi Community College is excited about bringing a showcase of  regional talent to the Scooba Campus. Dr. Rick Young says “the musical, and folk art talent of  this area is one of our greatest resources. EMCC is delighted to host this event.”
